The three sports channels namely, Star Spots, ESPN and Star Cricket will be provided "free of cost" to all Tata Sky residential subscribers as part of their respective base packs until 30th September 2008 till next update.

TATA SKY NEWS

Tata Sky, the joint venture between the Tata Group and Star TV, has announced a reduction in their monthly subscription prices, thus ensuring that digital quality television becomes even more affordable.The Family Pack is now available at Rs 200 per month instead of Rs 250. This pack offers around 90 leading Hindi, regional, kids, infotainment and news channels. Similarly, the prices of all other base packages including the annual packs have also been reduced.The top-end Super Saver pack offering over 110 channels including English channels, is now available for only Rs 260 a month. The annual pack for the same is available for Rs 2600 (effective monthly price = Rs 217).Tata Sky has now empowered subscribers with further choice. Subscribers can now include or drop premium sports channels for any chosen period , rather than paying for them all year round.
